Madelyn Knecht Yes, it is the last one! But he said that he may revisit the universe with familiar characters in the future.
Andie N I sincerely hope that it's not! While the whole ghost problem has been mostly resolved, I need to know what happens with Lucy and Lockwood! I am obsessed. Read my review of the book to see how obsessed I am lol.
Gillian Wiseman While this book does satisfactorily wrap up the series, there is plenty of room left open for more books in the world. Maybe with the same characters, or possibly not.

Sophie I believe that's the plan…
George Sonja say they need to find out what's really going on. I say they have, to a wholly adequate degree.

As a researcher, like my namesake in the series, I wouldn't be satisfied. But as a reader, I don't need an installment where Lucy is involved with clearing the way for the dear departed to fully depart, it's revealed what's on the other side of the Other Side, etc. Even tho she states she's been back there at least once more, so presumably at least the first those has happened.

Not that I don't suppose Stroud could do so effectively, just that it's not screaming to be done.

Nor do I think the romances need to be resolved. Despite a certain 19th-c. feel to them, these are not 19th-c. novels.
Kris Henry Yes, unfortunately it is. 😭
Googlyeyes I Really hope not, I tweeted him yesterday, hoping for a answer. PLS DONT BE DA LAST :C
