I liked the first chapter or two. The ideas are not completely new to me - I've read about brain elasticity and the Malcolm Gladwell book that she quotes. Still, she added a few interesting concepts. But... Question... Is the rest of the book worth reading? I've read some of the sports chapter, and it seems to be the same thing, but with sports examples. Then the business chapter - the same thing...

Daniela I'm currently reading that "business chapter", but to be honest, I have to force myself a little bit to reading, since it's basically about the same thing again and again and again... but I'm looking forward to chapter about relationships with hope that there'll be something really useful for daily life, I mean some kind of information on how to apply growing mindset to this area.
R Yes it's more or less the same thing... Just different examples. Found the chapter on relationships worth reading though. But it's very repetitive. I was waiting for some guided steps to go from the fixed mindset to the growth mindset and that's just the last two pages of the book, though it has a whole chapter with a title of "How to".
Charlie the business chapter nearly killed me! It's worth skipping. The last couple of chapters are good and the relationships one.
Syed Nassar I can't disagree more as I have to force myself to read the business chapter, for now I'm going to skip and speed read the rest of the book.
