Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

J.C. Andrijeski Jeez, this is a hard one. Right now I'm reading the Outlander series, so Jamie and Claire are way up on the list. Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennett. I loved Zoey and Wash on Firefly (and Mal and Inara too, although they made me want to shake both of them, and I'm mad the series ended before they got their crazy figured out). Angel and Buffy. Andy Dwyer and April on Parks and Rec. Rhett and Scarlett. Steve Morgan and Ginny. Han and Leia. Joe Pike and his ex-partner's wife. I can think of more heros / heroines I've loved (and same-sex bromances and femromances) than romantic couples, for some reason. Unfortunately a lot of books I've loved, the couples haven't fared so well. :(
