Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Travis W. Inman Jaime and Claire Fraser from the Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon! They have a unique set of parameters that brought them together, and a unique set of parameters that made them fall madly in love with each other. Both characters are flawed, but their flaws make them even more endearing to the readers. They share a love that endures the harshest of trials, and a profound respect for each other that provides a solid foundation for that love to exist. I believe that many of the troubles facing modern day marriages involves a lack of respect between the spouses, which fosters a desire for selfishness, rather than a desire for selfless love. I'm so impressed with the work Diana Gabaldon has given us!
