Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Michelle E. Lowe I've got a few, Princess Leia and Hon Sole. Bert and Ernie (We all know it!) But I think my favorite fictional couple of all times is Robin of Locksley and Maid Marian. First off, I adore the whole Robin Hood myth, always have since childhood. And I love the idea of relationships that begin from an early age. Robin and Marian's started from childhood and it blossomed later on after Robin returns from the Crusades during the trouble in Nottingham and the two find out what sort of people they truly are. It's as if they had rediscovered one another and loved each other for who they were. I admire the character of Maid Marian. Even in the earliest adaptations of the Robin Hood stories, she'd always been a great ally towards, not only to Rob, but to the people in need. The pair are the perfect match no matter how the story was or will be written in the future.
