Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Ray Zimmerman Blondie and Dagwood Bumstead are my favorite fictional couple. They manage to struggle through, despite the fact that they often get it wrong. Also, the cartoonist showed no partiality in humor aimed at both male and female characters.
