I'm a bit biased, but one of my favorite fictional couples is Robert Edwards and Jill Parker. They represent a couple who have triumphed over adversity and kept their relationship on track. But, if I had to pick a couple I'm not "connected" to directly, I'd say Noah Calhoun and Allison Hamilton from The Notebook by Nicolas Sparks.
