The first couple that springs to my mind is the couple, Stu Redmond and Frannie Goldsmith, from The Stand by Stephen King. An absolute great book!! Its original characters and the engaging story is mind-blowing but one highlight was definitely the bond and the love shared by these two which struck a chord within me and made me feel as if I grew up with them.
