Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Kylie Scott I usually start with an idea for an opening scene and work from there. With TWIST, I wanted to run with notion of the hero lying to her about who he was on a dating site. You'll have to read the book to find out why. But when the heroine decides to surprise him with an appearance at his birthday party, everything goes south fast and it's crushingly embarrassing for her. Because I'm mean.
