Sonia Ahmed asked Pramudith D. Rupasinghe:

Why did you select a very controversial theme for Lethal Truth? An Iranian boy from a wealthy family falls in an unstoppable relationship with a transgender prostitute in France?

Pramudith D. Rupasinghe Hi there, actually all my books are semi-fictions which means, there is a true story which is literary qualified or beautified by adding fictional features. The story behind the Lethal Truth is a true one which I witnessed in Paris, but the names of the individuals involved are not real.
That time LGBT was not legalized and many societies treated it as a taboo, even today most of the societies treated it same way, therefore the story I witnessed looked something that I thought of highlighting because of the fact that I noticed, behind all those differences, taboos, cultural and social pressure, there was something linked to real human emotions and bound which were engaging in a constant battle with the external world which was more powerful. I think my reply suffices ?
