Cathy Burnham Martin My latest project takes me into historical fiction. More fact than fiction, "Destiny of Dreams: Time Is Dear" follows a family journey through a dangerous part of the world amidst the chaos and violence that marked the waning days of the Ottoman Empire. The story of one family's struggle for survival reflects millions who have fallen victim to intolerance and become part of the diaspora. While I penned the initial story years ago, the covid-lockdown provided a great deal of quiet writing time, as I waited in parking lots week after week, throughout my husband's ongoing cancer treatments. In fact, the initial novel has grown into a trilogy!
