Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

L.E. DeLano When I was a kid, we lived in England, and I happened to see "Alice Through the Looking Glass" in a rerun on the BBC. This was the 1974 version, which is more than a little creepy. After that, I caught a glimpse of myself in our hallway mirror, and I swear to you, I saw the "other" me blink. It was months before I could look in a mirror again! It made me wonder what it would be like if I could "step through."
