I bought Only Uni recently. I did not realize it was a series. Is it advisable to read sushi #1 or are these independent stories?

The books can be read individually, so you do not have to read Sushi for One to enjoy Only Uni. There will be a couple things in Only Uni that references Sushi for One, but nothing that would ruin your enjoyment of Sushi for One if you went back to read it another time. Thanks for asking!
