I also have married into family who have roots in the Adirondacks. Any particular town that inspired Summer Lake? I pictured Lake Placid and Mirror Lake Inn for the latest Sullivan wedding.

Aren't we lucky to have married into families with Adirondack lake roots? Every lake in the region is so different--and they're all beautiful. I love Lake Placid and Mirror Lake, along with the smaller lakes as well. I'm even more familiar with the lakes in the southern region of the Adirondacks where my husband's family is from, so some of of those south Adirondack lakes really inspired my vision of Summer Lake.

I love your books, I've only read a few but when I start them I can't put them down! I just bought one of the Sullivan books, but then found it was in the middle of the series. Do you recommend them to be red in order or will it not matter if i don't read them in the oder they were published?
