I've always wondered at authors' inspiration and yours particularly. Is it the case of 'wrote to story you want to read' or the story you are living, both, either, neither? What gets you to sit on your desk open up a laptop and just write away...and write away that you do splendidly!

Kristan Higgins I always write a book I'd love to read. And I've never written my life story, because it's not book material. "Kristan met a nice guy. They married and had great kids. The end." I mean, wonderful to live, but yawn, right? What gets me to work is A) deadlines and B) the genuine love of stories.
