Kristanna, When did you know you wanted to be a writer? And have you ever had a book rejected?

Kristan Higgins Hi, Geri! I decided to write a book about 15 years ago, when my son was in nursery school. I had always loved telling myself stories and said, "I wonder if I could write a book. Let's give it a try." My first completed book did sell, and no, I haven't had a book rejected since then. My agent has gently suggested that an idea or two be left on the side of the road, so to speak. But my publisher has never rejected a book, I'm happy to say.
