Dai asked Joseph Delaney:

For any aspiring writers, how to overcome writer's block?

Joseph Delaney I think the important thing is to write all your ideas down, I have a brown envelope I use to put all my ideas for my next book into. I don't really get writer's block anymore but when I get stuck I go for a walk. Sometimes I use spider diagrams. Each leg represents a possible plot direction so I use the best leg I can find! I think the important thing is not to force it, I used to worry if I didn't write a certain number of words every day but now I try and write something every day but I don't get stressed if it doesn't flow. Just write what you can and don't feel you need to start at the beginning. When I start a book I like to have at least two good ideas and I will develop these and let the story flow from there Some days are easier than others.
