I've bought, read, and loved your books from the very first one to the very last one. Honestly, I can't get enough of them, and when they are published, I want to read them as slowly as I can so that I can savor them but they are like a bag of chocolate chip cookies....I just gobble them down. But my question: when you started out writing romances, did you add in the humor deliberately or did it just...come out?

Humor just seeps into even some of the saddest scenes I write. I did WANT to write romantic comedy, because I loved reading it. But "just" rom-com felt a little light, too, so my books have always had that double-edged sword of sadness or gravitas. Thanks, Mona!
