When I first watched the stellar Disney film "Tangled," I asked myself, "What if Disney had applied the same clever, light-hearted tone to Beauty and the Beast?" That's how the storyline and main characters of The Beast of Talesend eventually came to be. I honestly don't remember what sparked the post-fairy-tale premise of the Beaumont and Beasley series in my head. But the atmosphere of the books' universe, as well as the various monsters and mind-bending plot twists Nick and Cordelia face, are heavily influenced by Doctor Who.

Hi, Kyle! I noticed that there are two Afterverse short stories listed here on Goodreads that aren't currently on Amazon ("Love's Labour's Won" and "The Leprechaun Trap"). I wanted to ask if there will be any way to read those stories in the future or if those are "retired" for now? Thanks!
