So, quick question, does this book spend time bashing Marie Kondo's book or does it mostly just focus on the task at hand? I ask because I actually really liked Marie Kondo's book and it helped me get rid of 73 13-gallon garbage bags of stuff. However, I need a bit more assistance as I am not living the single life. I have spouse, hobbies, pets and a kid. I don't like books that bash other books though. Opinions?

No bashing!

She doesn't go into details about decluttering your entire life like Marie Kondo does. Kondo is an organizational expert and Dana isn't, and she's not shy to state that. She explains how you can win the marathon of life. As the fable goes, the tortoise wins the race against the fox, because smaller consistent actions help allow you to have more time.

It has a similar somewhat repetitive feel, but it's a completely different book to, "The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up".(less)
