I've noticed a lot of Science Fiction writers seem to have an interest in movies or screenwriting. Why do you think that is?

That's a really good question. I'm not entirely sure, but I think it's because that's where a lot of us found our initial inspiration. At least with me it was from movies like star wars, etc.
