Hi Christopher! What advice would you give to an aspiring writer on world and character building? Did you create your world and story first, and then move onto characters and their individual personalities? Thanks!

I tend to start with story first, but every author is different. Doesn’t really matter how you start as long as you end up in the same place: with a fully-developed world and story. Just ask yourself lots of questions about the characters and world, and by answering those questions you’ll figure out everything you need.
