What inspired you to write the Scorpius series? I love how you explained and how it works. I was wondering what made you do it? Don't get me wrong, i love the over theme of the books. And it made me think of the what if. I hope to read more of your books.

The 'what if' is the fun part of any book, I think.
Two things kind of happened to bring about the series. The first was that I watched one of the Transformer movies where the hero ended up driving through a demolished city, and I wondered who'd survive a big pandemic. The second thing was that I wanted to write a chapter for our local chapter and just wrote that first scene from Mercury Striking for fun. It turned into a series. :)

Hi! I got question for you, Helen Reese... She is a widow, right? There is that virus that frees the mating bond from dead mates. The woman seems to still be in her prime. (if you know what I mean) Sooo, is our Demoness going find a new love somewhere? Or maybe, someone who got away, before she ended up mated with sons. She seems to be free spirited enough to see who or what she wants & go for it. What's the verdict?

I have enjoyed your 'Dark Protetors' series. I'm thrilled that a new book in the series is coming out soon - "Vampire's Faith." I have two questions: what is the different between King of the Realm (Dage Kayrs) and Vampire King (Roanan Kayrs)? And how are the two related or is that explained in the book?
