Writing allows me to wrestle with my existential struggles in a creative way. I may not consciously realize certain fears and anxieties until I have fleshed out characters and conflicts on the page. By reflecting on these conflicts with both brutal honesty and humor, I'm able to maintain some semblance of sanity.

I'd love to read your short novel. I've also recently written about a grandmother-granddaughter relationship. I haven't read your books yet (I just ordered CURSED HAT), but I know you've written Shoah-related material. Have you read Victor Frankl? He was a psychiatrist in the death camps. He writes of losing his wife and other family members and has suggestions for dealing with the pain. I found him brilliant.
