What have been your favorite non-romantic relationships to write? I love Meg and Griffin's interactions as well as the animosity between Val and Maximus.

Elizabeth Hoyt Oh, that's a good question! I always like the male rivalries: Apollo & Maximus, Griffin & Maximus, Val & everyone else, but I think I liked the mentoring as a single, poor female relation that Bathilda did with Artemis in Duke of Midnight. It's a part of history that doesn't get told much--the women who got passed over.

Ah, seems like all the questons I had are already on here! But thanks so much for taking the time to answer them. I absolutely love your Maiden Lane series because of how relatable and real the character emotions are and also the grittiness, I think it really reflects the time period well. If I had one question about them it would be how do you choose the chapter intros that match the stories? They are just perfect!
