I've just read your list of 23 mystery books on the "off the shelf" website (see answer below) and I probably know a couple of titles which you would have wanted to include, had you remembered to: The 39 Steps by John Buchan and one of my absolute favorite of all times, The Riddle of the Sands, by Erskine Childers, one of the very first book I read in English - I'm Italian). I read The 39 Steps back in my teens, I think. I have, I must admit, not read the Childers books. Thanks for recommending it!

Not a question, but I entered to win the newest book, sent the email to a friend in Cincinnati, OH, and guess what?, I have to wait until it comes out to buy it (I live in FL now). I read every book you write, too. Alot of my friends in OH do, also. You're amazing.

Hi! Fellow TrentU alum (BA, B.Ed '14) here :) I always think of you and your books when I pass by Duckworth St in Barrie. It took me a bit to wonder... is there a connection there? Is that how Detective Barry Duckworth got his name? Do you often make connections to Ontario (or other local places) in your books? Or was this a complete fluke that I'm totally reading into?
