Hi Victoria, seeing as there are often questions about a third Fire & Flood book, will you ever consider to self publish it? Maybe just an epub version? Or is there any update about (stubborn) publishers who so far have not bought it yet? I am sure not to be alone who is needing to have the third book sooner rather than later! As rereading F&F and S&S can only be done so many times a year

First, are you going to read my upcoming book, HEAR THE WOLVES? With a user name like yours, I think you must. Ha!

I'm still hopeful that we'll get a contract for a third book, eventually. I most likely won't self-pub it anytime soon as there's too many unknowns about self-publishing it. In total honesty, I just can't be sure it'll net the same money a guaranteed book contract does. And because I'm under contract for other books, I don't have the time to work on an unsold book. But! If a day comes where one of my new projects don't sell, the first thing I would do is spend that free time writing that third book!

I do have the book plotted, and the first three chapters written. I've considered posting the summary of the third book online, but fans said they'd rather wait and hope for an eventual third book, which is touching.

Trust me, leaving the story somewhat open-ended breaks my heart a little more every day. But I have to believe we'll have an end...some day.
