Just write. Make time in your day, every day if you can and have fun with it. No-body is perfect at first, but it's amazing what you can learn if you have the determination to keep going and see your project through to the end.
If you're looking to get published - don't give up! Submit, submit, submit and expect rejection letters. It's a big business and you'll need to have faith in yourself. Somebody WILL love your work. Keep trying until you find that somebody.
