How do you deal with writer’s block?

Kerrelyn Sparks If I get stuck, it is usually because I tried to force a character to do or say something he/she didn't want. Or I'm trying to force the plot somewhere the characters don't want it to go. So I have to step back and let the characters run the show (which probably makes me sound totally crazy!) If I still have problems, I go back to the beginning of the book and revise as I go through it and that gets me back in tune with the characters.
