How would you say is this book, language-wise? Is it standard-English, does it have slang or incorrect grammar or difficult words in it? My mum's a big lover of chick-lit and wanted to brush up on her English a bit, so I wanted to give her something easy.

Silvia Mc Sun Illotta I am italian. I read English books but I found difficult to understand the writing of this book. Me too, I think that Sophie Kinsella is funny and easy to read. Another author easy and funny who I really like is Fiona Gibson.
