Jo Walton The way I put this on Tor.com in answer to a similar question is that I'm quite prepared to agree Dick is a good writer as opposed to a bad writer, but I'm not sure he's a good writer as opposed to an evil writer. I haven't read all his books, but I have had the same reaction to all the ones I have read, and this disinclines me to read any more when the world is full of books I do enjoy.
