Elizabeth Camden Would you? I'm flattered! When I wrote With Every Breath, I had the idea for a novella featuring Tick and Irene (the annoying judge's daughter) I wrote a bunch of Tick and Irene scenes that have MAJOR chemistry and you see that Irene is far sharper than anyone gave her credit for. Irene's flirting with every man who crossed her path was all designed to goad Tick, who was a master at ignoring her (except when he was madly flirting with her in private.) I eventually lost interest in that idea and cut those scenes....

Still, I may yet write a novel about Tick. He goes to work for the Secret Service at the end, and if you know your American history, there was a presidential assassination (Pres. McKinely, 1901) that would be a great backdrop for a Tick novel. Still toying with it...
