Karen Lynch Scott liked Sara a lot when she moved there. When they fought as kids, her rejection of his friendship, made him angry. As Aine explained to Sara, an undine can affect males in different ways and cause strong reactions (negative and positive ) in them. Scott's feeling were affected negatively and he lashed out at her and others. But secretly, he cared for her. When she left town, he stopped feeling the affects of her power and he became nicer. He regrets the way he treated her all those years.
