Do you ever base Characters (even loosely) on people you know? Or on people you have seen at a distance and gave them a life all of your choosing?

Complicated answer. In a way, all my characters are based on somebody I know, or knew. I mix and match their traits, make some up, leave out others. Lee, the anti-heroine, has some of my ideas, if not traits, but she is based on an image, if you will, of somebody attractive, mysterious and potentially very dangerous. David is definitely based on somebody I know, Vi is also, but to a lesser degree.

Not a real question, more of a comment. Why would we read your blog? Why would we read your books? You are a VERY good author, that would make us interested in you as a person. We will follow to see what it is about you that makes us love your books. We may never find it out, but that just makes us more interested.
