How do you get inspired to write?

Joshua Patrick Smith I love fantasy and science fiction. I love the concept of these strange worlds and the idea that magic and science can co-exist. I'm a huge fan of science, philosophy, theology, art, and literature and work to blend them together whenever I can. All of my work has a theme to it that asks a question and makes me think. I wonder if it'll make you think, too. So, I spend some time getting caught up in current events or doing research, I might read a fiction book for a time, and then I throw on some music and go! I like tunes that jive a beat or reflect a story, like classical music and soundtracks. And I let the creativity flow.
