How did the constraints of the World War I milieu help, or hinder, the development of interpersonal relationships and introspection of Kezia, Thea, and Tom?

Jacqueline Winspear I'm not sure I have really thought about this issue. I simply write stories that are in my head - however, war is a time of chaos, and perhaps none more so than WW1, the first catastrophic global war (and as Churchill said, the first war in which man realized he could obliterate himself completely). Chaos upends life, not only with losses (of freedom, of loved ones, of a way of life) but with the many innovations it brings, and chaos impacts relationships on many levels.

As 'committed' as I am to Maisie, Perhaps you've answered this and I've missed your response, but I really can't imagine that "A Dangerous Place" is simply a one-off. You aren't leaving this very intriguing story line... are you?
