Hi Cornelia! So I want to be a writer but I am having a very hard time even finishing one chapter. I have lots of Idea's but every time I sit down to right I can never get far before I 1 think its stupid. 2 just can't finish. 3 lose my thought. Do you have any advise for me? I just want to finish one draft of my books but I can't seem to finish a thought!

Oh, you're dealing with the inner censor, Tianna! And with your pride! You're worried you'll write something bad. Why? You have to - every first draft is terrible! Sometimes even the tenth is! Writing feeds on passion and time, on your curiosity about the world and this existence. You need to be fearless as a writer, and humble. You need to feed that longing to write. Just do it. And that polish and change and rewrite and work on your words, as if they were clay. And give yourself a few years! Artists don't grow fast!:)

Cornelia Funke:
Hi Cornelia. When I began to read the inkheart trilogy I never realized how much I could love a book. Inkheart made me into the shy bookworm I am today. I was just wondering did you have an ending planned out for the stories or did it just sort happen while you're writing? Thanks for even reading this.

Hey Cornelia, I am such a big fan of you and your book Inkheart! :) Even though he is one of the bad guys, I‘ve always loved your descriptions of Basta because I could always imagine him so well. This might sound a bit weird, but I was thinking a lot about Bastas hair colour because it is not explicitly mentioned in the book. In my head it is very dark to almost black, what does it look like in your head? :) THANKS <3
