Mandy Kempton asked:

In the book they talk about Firelight Park being in the same location before Kings Island was built. I really wonder if this aspect of the book is true or if it was just for the purposes of the story line for the book. This is what intrigued me with this book. I have looked around online for an answer to this but have found nothing in reference to this, but I may not be looking in the right places. Does anyone Know??

MyNameIsTim No. There was no Firelight Park. The location where Kings Island is today was woods and farmland before the park was built - it was an extremely rural area until well after I-71 was built (in the 1950s or 1960s). The book, however, gives a fairly accurate description of what a 1930s amusement park would be like.
