I just finished Malice and it was astounding! Currently, it is only available in paperback though I LOVE hardcovers, especially for my favorites. Do you know if it will ever be reprinted in hardcover for the U.S, as well as the others in the series?
John Gwynne
Hi Ashley, I must apologise for my late response. I've been unwell - ended up in hospital with pneumonia before Christmas. I'm feeling much better now, though, and ready to face the mountain of my inbox! :) I'm so pleased to hear that you enjoyed Malice, and I appreciate you taking the time to let me know. Hardback or paperback depends on what country you live in - in the UK my books are released in hardback first, then paperback, but in the US and most other countries where my books are published they're released as paperbacks. This is a decision made by the individual publishers and something that would be unlikely to change, I'm afraid. If hardbacks are really your thing then there is the option of purchasing the UK versions. Amazon UK and the Book Depository are well priced on shipping fees.
I'm sorry I can't be of more help, there.
All the best,
John

Mr. Gwynne, Thanks for the books so far. I've imported hardback copies into the USA from third party sellers in the UK since I prefer to read and own them in that format. Has there been any discussion/decision on whether to offer your second trilogy in hardcover for sale in the USA? Shipping from the UK can run as high as 15 to 20 GBP which is a bit pricey. All the best, REL

I saw "Ruin" was now available to buy in the UK and I nearly started crying with joy. I've cried quite a lot reading this series. I thought you might like to know that. What inspired you to write the story from so many perspectives? The multiple narratives are my favourite part of the series, and I'm really curious to know why and how you chose each of your narrators - and how you manage to keep track of them all!

So not long until June now, and I am looking forward to reading the next instalment. Meaning no disrespect, but I read a fair bit and sometimes details get muddled, I could start to re-read Valour but I know within about 10 pages I will remember virtually everything. So while the book is in editing stage is there a possibility of adding a kind previously on the Faithful and the Fallen type prologue ?
