Hi! Pretty thrilled I have the opportunity to ask you a question directly...! In Bad Feminist you mention having a blog. I'm currently trying to set my own blog up but seem to have a pretty bad case of writer's block. Do you have any tips for getting an authentic image of yourself out there? Or any tips on actually getting started writing blog posts? We're a big fan of your work in Dublin :)

Roxane Gay Don't worry about putting an "authentic image" of yourself out there. Just write and be true to yourself. Don't try to pretty up your life or thoughts for an audience. Say what you think and feel. Have boundaries for yourself so you're not giving the best, most vulnerable parts of yourself away. My blog was about writing rejection and having that theme helped me to at least have a starting point. What is your starting point for a blog? That is the question.
