Hello Liane! How important are names to you in your books? Do you choose the names based on liking the way it sounds or the meaning? Greetings from Latvia.

Liane Moriarty Hello Lize in Latvia. Names are important in that they have to feel right for the character's personality, age etc. (But I don't normally look at their meanings.) You also can't have too many characters with similar sounding names as everybody is already cranky with me for having too many characters so I don't want to confuse them further.
