I did originally plan this to be a longer series, although I had a contract to write only the three. The publisher asked me to wrap up the story in three books and I was quite pleased with the way it worked out - a nice ending, yes. I'm likely to move in to something entirely different for my next project.

Hi there :) I just issued Blade of Fortriu from the library and if the edition I'm borrowing there is no map of Fortriu. Just wondering if there are any available maps that go with this book (it was super helpful looking at the map while I read The Dark Mirror) and whether there is a way for me to access them. Also wondered if there's a character pronunciation guide as well?

I have just joined this site I can't believe my favourite writer is on here! I love your books in fact I come from Asia and your Dark Mirror was the first western book I ever read, it was many years ago when I was little but I could still remember many details in it, the book was part of my childhood what a beautiful book it was. I was wondering will you ever come to UK? If so, when? Thank you!
