Hi Rick! I always appreciated the diversity of the characters in your books and I wanted to ask where do you get your inspiration for all of them? Are some of them based on real people?

Rick Riordan Almost all my characters are inspired by former students in one way or another, though nobody is cut exactly out of real life.
