Hi Cornelia, I like to shelve my books based on where the author is from, &/or where the story takes place. I would put your books on my "beyond the USA" shelf. Is this okay, or would you prefer to be noted here in the US? Thanks!

Cornelia Funke :))) How interesting Little Owl! I love that you take PLACE so seriously! It is, vastly so! My stories are fed by many places, the ones I come from, the ones I travelled to and the one, I live in, which is Southern California. Especially in the past eleven years the soil of Los Angeles has fed my stories, and you'll see that get stronger, especially as I moved into the mountains of Malibu by now, the Pacific ocean always in my sight. In case my next books taste of salt and sage you'll understand why:) But until then I guess I am 'beyond the USA':)
