Thanks so much. Great that you loved those novels. Yes, I've just published "At the Edge of the Orchard", about a pioneer family in 19th century Ohio; you can get the paperback now. And I've got "New Boy" coming out in May. That's a modern re-working of Othello, set in Washington DC in the 70s, in a school yard. Hope you enjoy them!

Hi Tracy! I've read all of your books and I absolutely loved them. Each one of them is a whole new experience and through the characters and situations you are able to involve and transport the reader into the story and specific places. So my question is: How do you decide what your next book will be about and once you have decided the central plot, how long does it lasts the investigation period?

Hi Tracy, may I ask about your connection to the Cevennes? After graduating from college I came on a trip to Europe and never left! At one point I participated in a youth work camp which by chance was in the Cevennes, and I was enchanted. To make a long story short, I have a house in the commune of Saint Germain de Calberte, which is about half way between Saint Jean du Gard and Florac. Best wishes, Heidi
