How do you get inspired to write?

Cynthia Terry I have always wanted to entertain people. To be a part of something that made people laugh or cry or just escape for a while. Whether it was through television, film, or books. Three years ago I started writing a story during NANOWRIMO to get out of my own head. I fell in love with the characters and decided to to turn that story into a novel for some friends who have enjoyed my fan fiction in the past. Then one day I was friended by an Editor who encouraged me to share my novel with others.
