Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

K.V. Flynn I knew a great group of 14-year-old skaters who'd been friends all through middle school. When they graduated, they spent the summer before high school together at an Element skate camp up in the San Bernardino mountains. ON THE MOVE starts with that great summer... and then imagines how they'd all hang and help one another out when a War starts that sends them on the move to find their families!
