I have read almost every one of your books but I have not read your Fantasyland series do I need to start with the first book?
Kristen Ashley
Well, I always say you should start with the first in a series because I'm that way (and that's how I like to read series myself). It gives you the full effect and as you read, you won't be thinking you're missing something if you know what's gone on before (and to who).
However, I think they all can be read as standalone, in a way. It's hard for me to say, of course, since I wrote them and all that stuff was going on in my head so I knew all about the universe I was creating. :-)
I'll quit babbling and end in saying, yes, I'd recommend starting with WILDEST DREAMS then going forth with THE GOLDEN DYNASTY, FANTASTICAL, BROKEN DOVE and ending on MIDNIGHT SOUL.
Happy reading! xx

I read you just finished Sebring. I can not wait to see what is going on in Nicks brain and If he finally gets his act together. My question is was Nick the main reason the unfinished series was written? Was he the main event all along, you just need us to meet , Knight, Raid, Creed & Sylvie and Deacon to understand nicks book? Hope that made since.

Love Chaos so deeply I've had trouble reading anything else--I just want to be back at the Compound. THE WILL just changed that. So powerful. Reading it I could feel these characters coming through you like this story had to be told. I have to ask what inspired Jake. He, and the book, are so YOU and familiar yet there was something different, new. Did you identify this newness? If so, how did you conceptualize it?
