Kelly asked Liane Moriarty:

I am a HUGE fan of all of your books and I have the hardest time ever deciding which one is my favorite. However, I think I've found it with Truly Madly Guilty. It was insanely good! Do you write the stories in the order laid out in the book, with the back and forth of timelines and the changing of narration? Or do you write big chunks of each characters story and then find a way to tie it all together? Biggest fan:)

Liane Moriarty Thank you so very much, Kelly. I generally try to write scenes in the order that I think they are going to be laid out in the book, but then at the end I do a lot of shuffling. This was a really tricky one because I didn't want to reveal what happened at the bbq too soon or too late. I think some readers found the wait too excruciating. So I'm glad you liked it!
