Dear Bryn, Hello from Pakistan. After reading your amazing book, I wanted to ask you a question. I believe you have a deep understanding of people who are not normal, do these people can ever live a normal life? Can they ever cope with a society for which they always felt they never fit in? Bryn Greenwood "Normal" is such a subjective concept. As someone who has felt like an outsider for most of my life, I do feel that my sympathies and understandings are distinctly with other outsiders. In terms of outsiders coping with society, I believe it happens all the time. People learn mechanisms to approximate their society's idea of "normal," or they simply seek out people who accept them for themselves and they get on with their lives, even if that means operating outside "normalcy." I think Wavy is doing that as an adult. She has Kellen, Donal, Renee, and Amy, who don't judge her for not being normal. Beyond that she pursues things she's interested in, and when necessary, she can perform certain elements of social interaction that are required.
